WHAT ABOUT MY REGISTRATION STUFF? If you register before the 3rd week of October, I should be able to pick up your stuff in the team box and you can get it from us either Saturday night prior or morning of the event.
Our family would be delighted to have your support in the fight against breast cancer. As Team Captain for the third year, I am asking you to join us in helping to raise funds to help people at risk and affected by breast cancer. I finished chemotherapy in March 2015 and close to feeling and understanding the fight for breast cancer. I am humbled and blessed to have the love and support of my community in this adventure. I truly have appreciated the love and hugs from all of you. Team Sitapati has brought more than 30 racers including my son, Gabe, who ran hard and finished overall 4th place with Angel wings on his back 2014.
I would love to have you join our team this year. If you are inspired and unable to join, consider making a donation to the Komen organization. They are unique as they provide resources for diagnosis and care to persons beyond the usual medical care as well. When you are going through cancer, eating, walking, every part of life can be impacted. Komen provides resources to individuals that attend to day to day needs as well. Your generosity of spirit and commitment to the fight against breast cancer will enable Komen San Diego to fund vital breast cancer services that include education, outreach, free diagnostic mammograms, financial assistance for living expenses, food assistance, transportation, research and more.
If you would like to learn more about Komen and other opportunities to support them, visit the website at http://www.komensandiego.org/
Register you, family, and/or friends on the TEAM PAGE: Sitapati. If you register here, I can keep in touch with you as the race approaches.
Thanks again for your support in the fight against breast cancer! It really means a lot to me.
